Personal and consumption data
Personal data are data that can be traced to an “identified or identifiable natural person”. A name, an address, but often also an email address and, in some cases, an IP address can thus be regarded as personal data.
The personal data you have introduced to Cocoon´s website(s) will only be used for the purpose for which you left them. We will only use those customer data in order to carry out our services. Cocoon will never provide data to third parties. However, there are some exceptions:
When Cocoon must provide data because of legislation, for example in a criminal investigation. Of course, in this case Cocoon will closely monitor the compliance of all legal requirements the investigation is based on.
When we co-operate with a third party to deliver a service in which it is necessary to transfer data. Then, Cocoon will come to agreements related to the protection of your data with the third party. Cocoon will monitor the compliance of these rules. (Consumption) data are maintained for the various services offered by Cocoon.
Cocoon is required by law to regularly provide legally established customer data to the CIOT information system. More information about this requirement can be consulted at the CIOT section of the Ministry of Justice’s website.
For some parts of Cocoon’s site and/or services it is necessary to use a cookie. This is a small file that the website places on your computer with, for example, information about your preferences. This allows us to improve our services.
Cocoon regularly sends its customers a newsletter with useful information about its products, services, promotions and announcements about maintenance. Customers who don’t want to receive the newsletter can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter.
Cocoon’s websites contain several references (links) to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of these parties.
